Sunday. The vault checks your key in two pieces and never puts them together, so there is no single moment where the answer sits in a register waiting to be copied.
One half is a running total weighted by position. The other is an XOR that gets rotated every letter. Both are cut down to 16 bits at the end.
Read both halves, put them in the right order, and the vault opens.
